FAQ 2017-01-15T03:13:09+00:00

Whether its vacation or business travel, the LIVE Publicity Cruise is one of the only ways to gain national publicity and media exposure while at-sea. Through our partnership with multiple service providers, including world renown, Carnival Cruise-line, we are able to offer the unique opportunity of cruise ship publicity and to the most discerning companies.

If you have a business product, event or service that needs targeted media exposure, this is one of only a handful of opportunities for your business to target a captive audience directly while on board.

LIVE Publicity Media
opportunities are rare and just may be the ideal solution for your business.

We are able to help your business target new and frequent passengers who are looking to spend money in route to their destination and support our vision and mission. In addition, with our media partners in publishing and news distribution, your business can travel new territories, over and beyond the normal cruise stay by promoting your business onboard and online at the same time! The various uses for cruise ship publicity are only determined by the limits of your vision.

Travel Documentation Required 2016-12-15T00:20:49+00:00

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guest should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.

Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel unless otherwise noted differently). This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends due to an emergency to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications.

Europe and Transatlantic Cruises
U.S citizens are required to carry a passport, valid for three months beyond the date of their visit. Guests are not required to have a Schengen Visa or other visas.

Domestic Cruises (including Canada)
For cruises that begin and/or end in a U.S port, the following WHTI-Compliant Documents are acceptable for cruise travel. These standard forms of documentation will enable the Department of Homeland Security to quickly and reliably identify a traveler.

U.S. PassportPassport CardState Enhanced Driver’s LicenseCertificate of U.S. NaturalizationNative American Indians | Unacceptable forms of documentation

Also acceptable for cruise travel,  U.S. citizens can show proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate  issued by a government agency,  accompanied by a government-issued photo I.D.

Entry into Canada: If the cruise includes air travel to or from Canada, a valid, unexpired U.S. passport is required. Guests who have committed or been convicted of a crime may not be allowed into Canada – for more information, click here.
Air Travel
All persons are required to carry a valid, unexpired U.S. passport for air travel to or from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda. The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory. (Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands: St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix).

Guests may check-in and board between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. The ship departs at 4:00pm from Jacksonville, Florida.

Q: When should I arrive at the terminal?
A:  You must arrive at the cruise terminal within the 30 minute check-in window you selected. Check-in windows will be strictly enforced so that we can minimize wait times in the terminal.

Guests who are part of our Priority Program (Diamond, Platinum and suites), have purchased transfers with Carnival or ‘Faster to the Fun’ must still select a window online, but are invited to come at their leisure, up to one (1) hour prior to sailing – please select your anticipated check-in time so that we can prepare for your arrival onboard. Please keep in mind that transfers and Faster to the Fun may not be available for all sailings. Departure times can be found on your boarding pass.
